Racquets

At Beacon Hill, it is our goal to provide a first-class racquets experience for all ages and playing types both on and off the court.  It's not uncommon to walk down to the courts with racquet in hand, and pick up a game in no time.  Whether you are looking for the ball machine, or require assistance finding a partner, our staff will stop at nothing to ensure that your every need is accommodated.

Tennis

Beacon Hill Club features seven clay tennis courts.  The three upper courts were built on the site of the Bassett's rose garden, where attractive elements such as the original stone fountain, walls, and staircase have been preserved.  Our state-of-the-art courts are groomed regularly to provide a cooler, softer playing surface, which is easier on the body and makes for smooth, well-controlled matches.

Throughout the tennis season, we offer targeted clinics for all ages and levels.  From beginner clinics to more intensive boot camps, we provide the type of guidance that will improve your abilities and performance. Our members also participate on local area Interclub tennis teams for men, women and juniors.

Paddle

Our four outdoor paddle courts are available for play year-round.  Renovated in 2014, the elevated aluminum courts are heated for the quick removal of ice from the courts surface, allowing for play even on icy days.  Also added during the court renovation was the warming paddle hut.  With large windows and comfortable chairs, the paddle hut is the perfect place for members to view any ongoing matches.  The hut also features a fireplace, honor bar and food service.

Paddle clinics for beginners to expert players of all ages are offered from early fall through early spring. Many of our members also enjoy participating on interclub paddle teams which include men's and women's teams as well as teams for our juniors.

Racquets Socials

BHC Racquets members are a very social group and often arrange for group activities centered around play, including an annual bus trip to the US Open, Margarita nights on the tennis terrace, and holiday-themed events in the Paddle Hut.  All members are welcome and encouraged to join in the fun!
